Our Europe trip started a little something like this...For weeks we planned to go to Utah for the break after finals and then the next thing I know, we are buying plane tickets to Europe! I mean, what better way to celebrate completing the first year of law school than with a trip to Europe right? This was definitely the most spontaneous and unplanned event that has ever occurred in my whole life! And that's a big deal because I'm a planner and spontaneity tends to stress me out. We looked up plane tickets to Ireland out of curiosity, bought them the next day, had less than a week to plan our whole trip, and left the morning right after finals. It was seriously crazy!
Ok now I'll get to the good stuff...
First stop on our crazy Europe adventure - LONDON!!
It was a downright miracle we even made it there.
(After landing in Ireland, somewhere between passport control and security we missed the step to get our London boarding pass stamped? Because of that one little stamp, they wouldn't let us board our plane to London! But by some miracle a lady eventually let it slide.)
And after the longest travel day of our lives: 3 flights, 1 bus ride, AND 1 tube ride, we finally made it to our Airbnb flat in London.

The next morning we hit the streets of London and we hit them hard!
It was go time and we didn't want to waste a single minute. We made our way around the city on foot mostly, stopping at nearly every landmark along the way.

Tower Bridge

Shakespeare's Globe Theater
We took a tour and it was amazing! They perform everyday even in the rain and heat.
38 people fainted during one show because it was so hot!

The London Eye

Big Ben/ Parliament Buildings

Westminster Abbey
fist pump for Westminster! ++ Buckingham Palace We were hoping to see Princess Kate and the babies but all we got were some dukes and duchesses in fancy hats leaving the palace. |

Piccadilly Circus

King's Cross Station
Here's a not so good pic of Platform 9 and 3/4.
At the end of the day we were so pooped/overcome with jet lag that we found a place to eat in Camden Square and then called it a day.
