london continued

 London day two caught us by surprise...
1. That morning we woke up to extremely loud pounding on our front door by a crazy-eyed Bilbo Baggins look-a-like who said we were pounding on his ceiling? Um what?! It was really so scary that I was shaking for 5 minutes because what a way to be woken up in a foreign country.
2. I guess I wasn't paying attention and I ran right into those short poles you chain bikes too. I still can't bend my knee all the way from the internal bruising + a tour group on a double decker bus witnessed the whole thing. Yikes.
It was supposed to rain all day but we got lucky with such beautiful weather that we took advantage of it and hit up basically every park in London.

Regent's Park
cutest couple in Queen Mary's Garden
After strolling through the garden we rented a cute little row boat and Samuel took us around the lake.
++
Hyde Park
We had a picnic lunch at Hyde with the goods we picked up at Food Hall, which basically has every type of food from Turkish delight, gyros, sushi, to sandwiches.
++
Harrod's
We browsed the iconic department store and gift shop and then stopped at Laduree's for a much needed macaroon break.

Kensington Garden/ Palace
We had a blast in London and we're glad it was our first stop on the trip to get the ball rolling and excitement flowing lol.
