I can't believe Samuel is 30 years old! We've almost been married for 5 years but sometimes I forget how old we are and still think we're babies. It also doesn't help that I've had two 16 year olds ask me out recently, one at the library and one at the rec center when I was swimming laps. 

But back to the matter at hand...it was Sam's birthday! Just a little update on my lover boy... 

he's a baby whisperer!

But also he is thriving at work! He's been working so hard and he's been so consistent waking up for work even after 10, 12, and 15 hour days! I'm so proud of him! I'm so happy that I get to go through life with my lover boy! He's been so good to me with all the changes and craziness that we've been through recently. He lets me vent, cry, and be a little grumpy sometimes. He's always there comforting me and supporting me in everything!

Meg's wedding day was seriously perfect! She looked so beautiful and had a permanent smile on her face all day! And she seriously was the most chill bride! I was so lucky to be able to escort her into the temple and help her get ready.

We had the best time celebrating Megan and Jacen and I'm so happy for them!

wedding prep & parties!

This year we had a lot of fun celebrating Meg and prepping for her wedding. 

First up, WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING!

We went to a couple stores but ended up finding the perfect dress at The Perfect Dress!

Second, we had a surprise MODESTO BRIDAL SHOWER during Christmas. It was so fun seeing some of the Modesto friends!

Third, we had UTAH BRIDAL SHOWER with all the fam, cousins, and friends.

Fourth, we had a BACHELORETTE WEEKEND in St. George!

We got pedicures, went hot tubbing, ate lots of food, did Meg's hair & makeup, did face masks, danced, laughed, coughed a lot (we were all sick), almost threw up (Kayla), and peed our pants (i think I was the only one) and went hiking. It was definitely eventful! 

Fifth, we had a BACHELORETTE NIGHT the night before the wedding with all the bridesmaids and it was so fun being all together with so many good friends! All these girls have been through so much and are such inspirations to me!
